Research On Linqing Tune

"Tune", as the most popular form of the Folk pop ditty, has profound historical origin and cultural foundation. Ealy before the Ming and Qing dynasties, many local ditties generated and flourished along the canal of Jinghang. Lingqing tune then gradually evolved based on these ditties from north to south. Linqing, rapidly rose as a commercial port city in Ming and Qing Dynasties, relying on the water transportation of the canal. Therefore, ditties from different places spreaded here with the canal as media, so that Liqing became one of the most important circulation areas of local ditties. Based on the integration of different local ditties and Linqing dialect rhyme, Linqing tune was radually developed into an art form combining talking and singing.Because of thousands of years of cultural heritage, Linqing tune has a profound historical and cultural connotations, and is one of the most famous Chinese traditional ditties with Qilu cultural characteristics. Linqing tune, as the wisdom of local people, uses local dialect and reflects the cultural diversity of local customs and social psychology. But now this valuable intangible cultural heritage is facing a huge impact because of the development and changes of modern society. So Linqing tune declined as a result of some adverse conditions, such as the weakness of traditional heritage and its own rigid art form. However, since the technology has been improved, especially the multimedia techniques, Linqing tune is now encountering a new opportunity to develop, and it has a new breakthrough with the preservation and dissemination of electronic media. Besides, Linqing tune, as important information to study Qupai, Qumu, song lyrics and melody of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and evidence of folk songs along the canal, has highly research values.There are tour chapters in this thesis: Chapter one: about the origin and development, historical evolution of Linqing tune, analysis of the positive influences of Jinghang Canal to Linqing tune.The second chapter, describes the musical pattern and some other unique art characteristics of Linqing tune by the analysis of its Qupai, Qumu, performance form, Song lyrics, melody, and so on.The third chapter discusses the meaning of folk tune, ideological content, and other cultural characteristics of Linqing, and the social functions of Linqing tune were also explained.Chapter four summarizes the difficulties of heritage and development process, by analysing the restrictions to its development, including the musical factors and non-musical factors.This paper explores the formation of Linqing time to time, the evolution process by using a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis, combining history, geography, and other related knowledge through detailed information on research. It also collates the the recording to the traditional Qupai, Qumu, lyrics, melody and some other related information, combined with field investigation, and the analysis and comparison of induction, etc. Besides, it elaborates the deep meaning and social significance from the perspectives of folklore, sociology. We hereby hope that the whole society could appreciate the unique charm and cultural values of Linqing tune and to protect this valuable cultural heritage in the future.
