In the history of Chinese Art-culture, painting and poetry, song had a very close aesthetic relationship although they are different art forms. Poetry and song, writing showed feelings scenario through text, and the artists depicted Heaven images with lines, color and composition. The relationship between painting and poetry, song is a particular concerned issue in Chinese traditional aesthetics, they were Interacted, Interpenetrated and integrated.This paper will mainly disscuss the accepted and coherentism in painting and music in Yuan dynasty, music as a cultural subject in Yuan dynasty showed spirit of the age, individuality, exposing the dark side and praise of human nature, these characteristics had shown different cultural traits from traditional literary concept, and vitality of this emerging literary style. However, the landscape painting in Yuan dynasty was not just a pure art expression, a choice between natural scene and the image, more importantly, the literati who shifted from the physical environment to mood environment and interpretated a kind of bleak, free, peaceful mind state through depicting the object in the context of mainstream culture, this is not only the evolution of techniques but also the evolution of creative motivation to content, so as to achieved the peak of the traditional Chinese literati painting. From these studies, we can recognize the possibility of merging in painting and other art types, to grasp the aesthetic characteristics and history trends of painting in-depth in Chinese traditional culture background.
