The Historical Perspective Of Music Aesthetics

Music historiography often spans between historical and aesthetic dimensions,because of its own particularity.The influence of the music historiography and music aesthetics is not a new topic in academy,but few to Mr.Yang Yinliu's history of Chinese music as the focus,to explore the music aesthetic in perspective of music historiography.It is well known that Mr.Yang Yinliu is a historian whose focus is on the history of music.After reading a lot of literature,the writer found that Mr.Yang Yinliu use the word ”choice” and ”desire” to interpret traditional Confucianism,Taoism,Mohism to carry out structural co-ordination in the ancient Chinese music historiography part,those views are aesthetics thinking based on historiography.The first chapter of this paper mainly introduces the connotation of the music aesthetic in perspective of music historiography,summarized the relationship and particularity between music aesthetic and music historiography,which belongs to the theoretical basis of the whole thesis.The second chapter focuses on the analysis of Yang Yinliu's view of music,and explores the relationship between the historical facts and the choice of desire.And thus come to the conclusion,the reason of the philosophers holds hundreds of view is that each of various has different desire of choice.The third chapter focuses on the analysis of Yang Yinliu's aesthetic discussion in perspective of historiography,mainly from the “ancient Chinese music history”,Mr.Yang Yinliu summed up the aesthetic views presented in Ruan Ji,Ji Kang and Ya Yue School.This thesis look at aesthetics in perspective of historiography by “the eyes of the wise”(Mr.Yang Yunliu),then analyzes the aesthetic thoughts flocked by Mr.Yang's works,and discusses the music aesthetic in perspective of music historiography in multi-angle and multi-level.And in “ancient Chinese music history”,the era aesthetic paradigm also mentioned.
