The research object of the paper is the novels of Tang Dynasty. The commercial culture in the novels of Tang Dynasty including commodity economy, business management, merchant consumption and so on , are discussed, using the methods: detailed reading and synthesized study. In the preface, first, it defines the relevant concept for the paper, then the paper describes the relevant between the business and novel development at the same time, and rises the topic that this paper talk about.The paper consist of three chapters.The novel of Tang Dynasty and commodity economy are discussed in the first chapter. It expounds from two aspects, one is the description about commodity production and kinds of business in the novels of Tang Dynasty, another is the influence to the novel narrative that the service industry in the field of commodity circulation bring.The merchant management is discussed in the second chapter. First, it classifies and describes the business means. Second, the merchant's morality is discussed. The authors of the novels praise the moral merchant and criticize the merchant without morality.The consumption type of the big merchants is discussed in the three chapter, the consumption of entering the government, the consumption of communication between merchant and officials and luxury consumption. Especially, the luxury consumption is mainly discussed.
