| The researches on the cognitive field of adult attachment to society have provided solid evidences for the perfection and enrichment of attachment theory. Existing researches demand us to have a full understanding of the working of the attachment system as well as a better comprehension of the various discrepancies of different attachment style, and to investigate through strict cognitive experiment paradigm how internal working model of attachment process information in an activated state. The aim of my research is therefore; to investigate how attachment style, reference words, and intimacy impact the information processing of activated attachment.This research activate attachment system through horror film, and use proximity words, as well as R/K paradigm, to investigate that the attachment style and situations have impact on target word response, in addition, reference word and intimacy influence R/K judgment. There are four kinds of target words including lovers, general friend, strangers and famous, and these names became reference words in Experiment 2.The result demonstrated that: Subjects response significantly faster in the stress and this excellent performance appear only on the target of lover. It is elucidated that we will seek security from attachment object in danger. The anxiety scores higher, the response faster, and avoid scores have no significant prediction on react time. But there is negative correlation on intimacy and avoid scores, In addition, high intimacy will lead to lovers reference effects in R judgment. There were no significant differences between reference words in K judgment. In conclusion,(1) Horror film primes led to increased accessibility of attachment figures. This effect was specific to attachment figures(2) Attachment anxiety heightened accessibility of representations of attachment figures, whereas attachment avoidance had no effect on the react time of the lexical task(3) The lover-reference effect could be affected by intimacy. |
