Therefore, the traditional folk art, which has been listed as among the Intangible Cultural Heritage, comes to gain more focus and further development. Meanwhile, people begin to be aware of the importance of the traditional culture that is closely related with our lives. In addition, it is a kind of resource that enhances the soft power of culture. Thus, there comes the traditional culture boom, which brings about unprecedented opportunity for the folk art.Folk handicrafts are an important part of the folk culture. They usually represent the characteristics and connotations of the folk culture as real objects, but the current packing forms of the folk handicrafts cannot meet the needs of the values in them.Through analysis and study on the folk culture and folk handicrafts, and based on the various forms of folk handicrafts packing, this essay mainly focuses on the analysis of its history and current situation. The essay studies on the Dough Modeling---a kind of folk art that Heze People are most familiar with; what is more, the essay gives the Dough Sculpture a fresh new packing from the perspective of modern packing design, so as to revive this folk art. From the design, the essay puts forward the aims:the packing should be simple in its inner structure, and be convenient for tourists, so that there is more living room for the folk handcrafts; this packing should add not only art values and culture connotation, but some economic values to the folk handicrafts. In the end, the author hopes that, through the exploration and trying of the graduation project, the essay can do some help in promoting the development and continuity of the folk art, and awaking people's awareness of national culture protection.
