Marxist political economics pointed out that no production, no consumption; vice versa. Because without consumption, there is no purpose for production. Consumption plays a decisive role in social production and social life. But, before capitalist industrial revolution, production couldn't meet the demand of consumption because of backwardness of social production. At a certain development level of social productive forces, the human society walked out of short of economic deprivation and entered into economic surplus. Especially after the second world war, with the rapid development of capitalist economics, consumption desire has been swelling for the abundance of material. Consumption has become both the heart of society and the theme of life. Consequently, vicious circle of'To consume and To have' has been the inertial way of life. Because Consumerism values added the fuel to the flame, many people lost moral idea as well as ideal and belief, obstructed the real needs and true happiness. Mankind are confronted with survival crisis which is more serious and more urgent than ever. Therefore, phenomena of consumption dissimilation appeared in public horizons.Consumption would have been means of realization own achievements, human nature perfection and happiness, However, Consumption dissimilation arrogated personal reasonable needs, trampled on the ethics and morality, and reduced the spiritual realm. Faced squarely with problems of consumption and spiritual realm, the author analyzed consumption dissimilation systematically by Marxism stand, viewpoint and method, and paved the realistic path by aesthetic education for aesthetic redemption, which is commanded by Marxist aesthetics. There are four chapters in the paper. On the basis of philosophical investigation of consumption, entering from Marxist theory of alienation in work, the nature of consumption dissimilation was uncovered, which is material desire for consumption and blindness to the spirit because of the concept of consumerism value led to survival crisis and lost of mental world. The second chapter described the background of consumption dissimilation, summarized three outstanding behaviors of material desire consumption, symbol consumption, and enslaved consumption, indicated three negative effects of consumption dissimilation of ecology unbalance, missequence of equity justice and lost of mental world. The third chapter cut over from redemption for consumption dissimilation and integrated the countermeasures for consumption dissimilation. Also revealed internal connection between consumption and aesthetics so as to give theoretical basis to aesthetic redemption. The fourth chapter explores theoretically from the aspect of aesthetic education. The author believes that the deep crisis consumption dissimilation is the denial of people and obstruction of spirit. While, the nature of aesthetics surmounts limited existence and significance of individual life and seeks for the freedom and liberation spiritually. The author has. written out a prescription by aesthetics for consumption dissimilation in order to break through the realistic predicament of'Material wealth, while, Spiritual poverty', to reconstruct the spiritual home, and to promote people's free and all-round development. The paper advocates labor and creation, pays attention to the spiritual consumption, and carries forward the true, the good and the beautiful. The paper tells people that we can walk out of consumption dissimilation and head for aesthetic life and reconstruct the realm of life by aesthetics. Finally, human can realize self development, self improvement, and self excelling.
