| Since Ludwig Von Bertalanffy creats the general system theory in1968,the general system have experienced3revolutionary paradigms shift.In Luhmann's social system theory,social semantics has been constructed in the process of social system formation,every functional system corresponding to a functional system semantics.The mass media system gradually differentiate from social system via functional differentiation way journalism, which is a program strand of mass media system has its own news semantics. News semantics has been constructed in the process of mass media system formation.The change of News semantics is closely related to the social structure changes,Every historical period of news semantics corresponding to the spirit or themes of the times.Social structure change influence the change of social semantics,and in turn social semantics intensify the change of social structure. Therefore,news semantics has a mutual-affection relationship with the social structure change.There are3main parts in this thesis.In part1I show how systems constantly use the operations of self-reference and of binary schematisms to constitute a dynamic social structure. Then I begin with the selection process of meaning, through which meaning is differentiated during the operation of communication. Here I am looking at the self-reference of meaning itself to clarify the relationship between social semantics and social structure. In part2, I show how mass media system emerge together with their environment, and how they self-generate and resonate with other functional systems.then I analyze how the journalism operate as a program strand of mass media system.In part3,1analyze how news semantics are constituted within different europe historically-grounded cultural forms, and clarify the relationship of news semantics to the changing social structure.then I analyze how news semantics mutually influence the American social structure change.At last I use Luhmann's social semantics method to analyze where the news semantics will go with the change of current social struture change in nowaworld as well as make some short forecast for the contemporary news semantics. |
