Chinese traditional academic development entered an important period of sorting and summarizing in Qing Dynasty. And Confucian classical studies, as the official philosophy, developed to its peak at the same time, affecting many aspects such as politics, education, culture and other modern social aspects in Qing Dynasty. According to rough statistics, the number of scholars of Confucian classical studies in Qing Dynasty is more than a thousand, and over ten thousand related books were written by them, which can be described as voluminous and abundant at that time. However, in academia, the lack of research works about chronological Confucian classics studies of Qing Dynasty still existed, and the textual research of systemic classic studies of Qing Dynasty is also in blank.Based on basic research in philology, this essay pays great attention to the textual research of the exact writing time of books about Confucian classics studies in Qing Dynasty, sorting out the relevant information in those abundant historical books, citing arguments in accordance with literature source and making introductions in the form of instructions.The series of papers "Confucian classics studies and literature in Qing Dynasty on the Year", mainly deals with the verification the writing time of books on Confucian classic studies written in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The series are divided in four phases,four parts, according to the titles of emperor's reign:the Shunzhi and Kangxi period (1644-1722), Yongzheng and Qianlong period (1723-1795), Jiaqing and Daoguang period (1796-1850), XianfengTongzhiGuangxu and Xuantong period (1851-1911). This article is the Phase IV of this series, XianfengTongzhiGuangxu and Xuantong period (1851-1911), which is divided into four parts:introduction, legend, text, and conclusion. The first part of the paper summarizes the stage of Confucian classics studies, and the way to do this research. The second part sketches out the basic principle and standard of this paper: according to the years and works. The third part searches for related information from works which come from the people in Qing dynasty and in modern times, and then puts these different contents into different years. Based on study of Part Three, The fourth part of this article makes simple generalization about the general situation and the new features of Confucian classics studies at this stage: Showing the new features after the prosperity situation of QianJia and making remarkable achievements.All in all, this article, adhering to philological academic purpose of "Distinguishing the Academy, Exploring the Source", undertook thorough and systematic study on the writing time of Confucian classics in the Xian-Tong-Guang-Xuan period for the first time, and sorted according to written ages. Secondly, traditional academic history often took the most important figures, books, thoughts, and schools as the research object, and lacked focus on the secondary characters and books. The article, for the first time, carried out systematic clean-up and research on authors and the writing time of Confucian classics of this period, basically sketching out the whole developing appearance of Confucian classics in Qing Dynasty. They are also the characteristics and innovations in this paper.
