Psychological trauma is a difficulty in psychotherapy and always a hot topic inpsychology. Numerous studies show that prisoners are the high risk population ofchildhood trauma, In order to develope a measuring tool for prisoners' childhoodtraumatic experiences that is suitable for China's national culture and the prisonsituations;analyse the relationship between traumatic experiences and adultattachment,self-esteem;explore the effective methods of intervention in trauma,wedesigned three studies:study one based on summarizing the documents and interviewthe male prisoners,referring the external scale,the study designed a scale of prisoners'childhood traumatic experiences;study two measured the prisoners' situation of threeprisons in Fujian with the Prisoners' Childhood Traumatic Experiences,ECR and SESto to find the relationship between them.in study three we have chosen10maleprisoners who with high scores of childhood traumatic experiences to carry out grouptraining,and have joined a check out interfering with effect.The main results of threestudy were as follows:(1)Prisoners' Childhood Traumatic Experiences was constituted of28items,included six facts: misery,physical abuse,emotional neglect,emotional abuse, sexualabuse, negative family atmosphere.(2)Only child prisoners' scores were significantly higher than the non only childin physical abuse dimension;prisoners coming from rural have significantly higherscores in emotional neglect,emotional abuse, sexual abuse, negative familyatmosphere than whom from the city; prisoners whose family is poor experience morechildhood trauma than those family economy is generally, in the emotional neglect,emotional abuse, misery and negative family atmosphere dimensions have significantdifferences;In addition to misery, violence criminals have higher scores than othertypes of criminals in other dimensions.(3)The childhood traumatic experiences were significantly positively correlatedwith adult attachment, had no obvious correlation with self-esteem.emotional neglect,emotional abuse and sexual abuse are significant predictors of avoidantattachment, emotional abuse,emotional neglect and sexual abuse are significantpredictors of anxiety attachment,only physical abuse is significant predictors ofself-esteem.(4)Group intervention for childhood trauma can effectively reduce its negativeeffect, the quality of adult attachment was obviously improved after the intervention.
