When the Chinese New Literature comes into the second-ten years, Ding Ling shooks the whole literary world with her novel nameded "Miss Sophie's Diary".After this, Chinese literary world comes a female writer,who is personal independence of conduct, full of lofty. She goes away with the influence of her mother's and the May 4th Movement's. On one hand, she pursuits of the freedom and the liberation of personality.she makes that into the heroines of her novels.This is called female consciousness.On the other hand, she was sensitive in politics.she always takes the initiative to participate in political activites. In the critical moment,she can change herself closing to the mainstream consciousness.The heroines of heinovels has been changed also.This is called political consciousness.Many researchers think the women consciousness and political consciousness is on the opposition, they think among them is the inverse relationship, but I think that two kinds of consciousness should be complementary to each other. We can find them in the female images'body in Ding Ling's novels.They are live together in peaceful.Ding Ling's thought, the change in mindset greatly influences her writing, she works in the women consciousness and political consciousness constantly fusion, collision, the achievements of its unique life experiences and creative style.This is what appearing under the pen of Ding Ling image of female character in the constantly changing, increasingly mature. This paper begins with the Ding Ling'growing, living environment. By analyzes the developement of the female characters in the different period in the novels of Ding', we can find the change and development of the two consciousness.
