"Signifier"　and "Signified" Under The Political Action

The language is a kind of structure according to the Linguistic Theory of F.Saussure. He holds that language is the minimal part of the symbol system, all of which we can construct such a partition into "signifier" and "signified"。 It means that, there is no exception, any symbol contains the connection between "signifier" and "signified".So as"Cultural Revolution prints"under political action, which is a multi level construction. This style has its own particularity which determines the special of its "signifier" and "signified".Although the language background in the theory of Semiotics comes from Western, because several languages is interlinked, it could be matched to Eastern background, as well as explaining "Cultural Revolution prints"under political action.Recently, with "Cultural Revolution hot" coming to prevalence, some styles and some symbols contained in "Cultural Revolution prints"take our attention and have a rule in Works again, presenting a new vitality, such as Guang-yi Wang,Min-jun Yue and so on. The application of some styles and symbol elements in Work of art, which bring the new period of the Political Pop Art,and as Xiao-gang Zhang's 《Blood kinship·Big Family》 series of works, which gets inspiration from old photos during the period of "Cultural Revolution", works with carefully modified, finally works give them the new feature of era. These representative works in the new era, reminding the people of the "Cultural Revolution" complex, and even have gained widespread recognition. It is researched that the study of both styles and symbolization contained in "Cultural Revolution prints"is not enough, what's worse, it mostly is ignored that connecting the theory of Semiotics with "Cultural Revolution prints"to have a research. Hence, I hope to try to research the communication between the theory of Semiotics with "Cultural Revolution prints".The main idea of my paper is to have a study about the formation of styles and symbolic language in"Cultural Revolution prints",and to excavate the law of style and symbolization treated political action and Saussure's Semiotics Theory as its background. During the discussed the process, on the basics of the "Cultural Revolution"of art history,Saussure's Semiotics Theory and Gestalt theory, from the time and logic levels were investigated, taking into account the organic unity of the chromological and logical order,and finally to find an presented with the current forms,symbols and its connection.
