The introduction part tells about the definition of Oriental Art, and gives acomprehensive statement of the research work of Hegel's philosophy both at home andabroad. Chapter one sorts out Hegel's philosophical thoughts and aesthetic theories.Chapter two dedicated to analyze the political foundation and the ethical foundation ofOriental Art, and summarize the substantive, natural and mysterious Oriental Art.Chapter three investigates the development of Oriental Art. According to the threePhases and the different Periods in each Phase by Hegel, this text makes a thoroughstudy of every part. In the end, the author gives some reflection of Hegel's view onOriental Art, and tells that we should put Hegel's view on Oriental Art in a correct way.
