In the long process of Chinese history, mural painting is one of the most ancient painting forms, which witnesses the social and cultural development in different periods of China. Among the mural paintings, Yongle Palace Mural, with its magnificence, brilliant colors and smooth and steady lines, plays an important role in Chinese long cultural history and becomes a representative of Chinese traditional mural painting.The first chapter describes the Youngle Palace Mural and analyzes its artistic characteristics from the aspects of the origin of the mural style, the structure, the colors and the ink, and concludes its historical significance. Chapter Two introduces the lines, decorative and calligraphic features of the Mural. The third chapter analyzes the enlightenment and use of the Mural lines in paintings from three aspects, including the influence of it on murals in Ming dynasty, especially the Fahai Temple murals, on Chinese modern fine brushwork figure and ink figure paintings, as well as its enlightenment on my creations on minority subjects.
