The Secret History Of The Mongols "language Postposition

In studying the language of The Secret History of the Mongolia, this thesis concentrates on analyzing the postposition of the book, which is the area that hasn't been studied deeply.This paper includes the preface and ending of five chapters. The first of the preface, explain the research objectives, methods, significance and source of language materials. Then, mainly introduces the study dynamic of postposition in The Secret History of the Mongolia.Chapter one, the first quarter through the contrast analysis of scholars about the different definition of Mongolian postposition, point out the lexical, semantic, syntactic features of the Mongolian postposition laid a theoretical foundation to the study of the postposition. The second quarter, through the contrast analysis of the different views about the ownership of parts of speech, such as the words:"迭额舍列(on)朶舌罗(under)......". This paper puts forwards following opinion:these words should be postpositions when they are used as auxiliary words.Chapter two, on the basis of the relevant research of postposition reference before, According to the specific use of postposition in The Secret History of the Mongolia, which is classified as comparison postposition, postposition of cause and purpose, general postposition, common postposition, finite postposition and postposition of time and place of six types, and expound its specific to the application.Chapter three, by the comparative analysis of the postposition in The Secret History of Mongols and meaning, form, speech, and other aspects of postposition in the modern Mongolian and Mongolian languages, then find out the relationship and differences between them, thus summed up the development and change rule of the postposition in The Secret History of the Mongolia.
