The reason why Yunnan printmaking in the early1980s by the widespread attention of the National Print sector, the key lies in the exploration and use of the printmaker printmaking language. To break in the performance practices of the characteristics of traditional printmaking in the form of content services, freer, more creative the artist's performance practices. This paper attempts to analysis from Yunnan printmaking art features, geographical and cultural point of view, explore, and reflect on contemporary printmaking in Yunnan language development. The article is divided into three parts discusses:Part I:The local ethnic languages in Yunnan prints.It discuss about the affection that how the geographic factors and the local culture to effect the printmaker's creation. Closely related to the formation and development of their native culture of Yunnan Printmaking language, especially close relationship with the Yunnan Ethnic Folk Art. Through the art feature highlighting Yunnan printmaking language (the symbolic, expressive, decorative and spiritual magic and other characteristics) analysis of the national folk art, can be drawn:Yunnan prints on the absorption of the local culture and national folk art, language created a unique artistic charm.Part Ⅱ:Yunnan Printmaking local language, of the impact of the geographical resources of aesthetic choice. The engraving style to the formation of a very important reason is the aesthetic choice of the regional culture of printmaker, and this choice is also an important factor of the prints aesthetics. The article thinks much about the expansion in art language of Yunnan print through analyzing and exploring the development of Yunnan Print.Based on the regional culture of Yunnan print form factors, the painter aesthetic orientation and engraving show various phenomena and the analysis of the problems that the main conclusions are as follows:First of all, Yunnan engraving art language should base on the development of the local culture. The painter's aesthetic consciousness and aesthetic ideal decided the engraving of the language development direction. In today's world foreign strong culture vigorous development background, to all sorts of cultural ideological trend of the choice of local culture and the confidence, engraving for also has an important significance. Second, the development of Yunnan engraving art language must be contemporary language to convert. Although the Yunnan region is rich in resources, folk art also have distinctive regional features, but too many regional painting elements also can make etching language is difficult to understand. In short, in Yunnan engraving art language development in the process of innovation, the painter should be in continuing the local culture and at the same time, injecting contemporary humane spirit.
