Painting Chinese Oil Paintings. Wise Impact Analysis

Andrew Wyeth is one of greatest American artists in the20th century. He depicts the nature and social customs of American countrysides with a real exquisite and lifelike style. His art paintings reveal an abundantly charming abstract emotion Also, his art paintings construct a lonely vacant inner world and with fascinating attraction. Andrew Wyeth is considered as the nostalgic realism art master, who has a profound and long-lasting influence on the American art. His art style not only leads a lot of new realism artists but also raise a big wave on realism style in China. The correlation between the Wyeth's style and Chinese Art is not an occurrence. Indeed, there are many reasons attributed to this correlation, such as, era reasons, environment reason, and emotion reason, which lead Chinese artists pay special attention on Wyeth's style with great passion. The Wyeth's style also influences many Chinese realism artists, which lights up a road for exploring the new realism style. Different artists have their own cognition and understanding, and hence they all have their different developments. Among them, AI Xuan develops Wyeth's style to an evidently new peak. In comparison with contemporary Chinese artists, Ai Xuan not only inherits and develops Wyeth's style but also greatly promotes the native realism art style. After all, the Wyeth's style is an exotic style, and there is some unavoidable gap when AI Xuan inherits.In this paper, the new art styles of Chinese contemporary artists as well as their correlations, influenced by the Wyeth's style, is studied, by virtue of careful analysis of Wyeth's style. Furthermore, the successful aspects and existing inadequacies during inheriting and developing the Wyeth's style of AI Xuan are analyzed. Finally, the attitude and approach for exploring Chinese paintings during inheriting Western painting are discussed.
