This paper's objects of study are Uighur trilinguals whose second language is proficient Chinese, and third language is adequate English. It uses category decision task under the condition of long-term cross-language repetition priming. Through changing the word types and language type of the experiment material, this paper studies Uighur trilinguals'semantic representation. In Study One, we uses concrete words as experiment material, through the within-language and cross-language long-term cross-language repetition priming experiment to study the semantic concept features of the Uighur university students'first and second languages. In Study Two, we use abstract words as experiment material, through the within-language and cross-language long-term repetition priming experiment to study the semantic concept features of the Uighur university students'first and second languages. The studies show:No matter it is under the condition of concrete words or abstract words, when Uighur trilinguals are under the condition of mother tongue within-language priming, i.e., the prime trial (Uighur) and the target trial (Uighur) are repetitively primed, there is notable priming effect. However, under the cross-language priming condition, i.e., the prime trial (Chinese) word and the target trial (Uighur), when the priming word and the target word are translation equivalence, only concrete words produce notable priming effects. That is to say, Uighur trilinguals'first language concrete words and second language concrete words are stored in the same semantic representation. In Study Three and Four, we use different experiment material to study the cross-language semantic representation features of the Uighur trilinguals'not so proficient English and their first and second languages. The studies show:No matter it is under the condition of concrete words or abstract words, when Uighur trilinguals are under the condition of mother tongue within-language priming, i.e., the prime trial (English) primes the target trial (Uighur), there is no not able priming effect between the not so proficient third language and the mother tongue, that is to say, Uighur trilinguals' English language and their mother tongue are stored in separate semantic representations. However, when the prime trial (English) primes the target trial (Chinese), there is not able priming effect between the not so proficient English concrete words and the proficient Chinese concrete words, that is to say, Uighur trilinguals'English concrete words and their second language Chinese concrete words are stored in the same semantic representation. These two experiments prove the influence that a mediating language has on Uighur trilinguals'third language study. Different word types in the experiment materials have different cross-language semantic representations, which means the word type effect does exist in semantic representation and support the distributed model.
