In our daily life, We induce some phenomena every hour and moment, but we don't know the essence of the induction. In the previous study, there are two related researchs, wason's2-4-6task research and selection task research. Most wason's2-4-6task researchs concerns how the hypotheses were modified and the selection task research was the first attempt to Pay attention to the logical expressions. The present experiment concerns undergraduate's induction of rules of conditional propositions. Experiment1concerns undergraduate's induction of36cards with no giving term of Conditional relation. Experiment2concerns undergraduate's induction of36cards with giving term of Conditional relation. Experiment3concerns undergraduate's judgment of four logical expressions basing on36cards. We found most participants can only induce2-3rules on rule-induction task and most students answer differently on experiment1and experiment2. On the task of judgment of four logical expressions, there was no significant effect on the student's answers.Experiment1found that with no giving term of Conditional relation, participants couldn't induce explicit rules of conditional propositions and they had just making induction of corresponding relational rules generally. Of all the answers, most participants could give right answers from letter to numeral. Only a few participants could give right answers form numeral to letter. Similarly, only a few answers were right of all the answers the students gave.Experiment2found that the ratio of answers using term of Conditional relation was very high. The ratio of right answers is about40%, and most answers were wrong. Compared with two experiments, we found there was no significant effect in the accuracy Rate. The result of two experiments Consistently show that most subjects can induce correct rules, but most of rules the subjects induced were wrong, only a few of them were right. Obviously, The ratio of answering Certain rules was bigger than the ratio of answering negative rules of all the correct answers, it is because the features of Certain rules were explicit and were easy to catch, in contrast, the features of negative rules were missing and hard to catch. The ratio of Certain rules were bigger than uncertain rules, it is because features of Certain rules were one corresponding to another one and easy to perceive, the features of uncertain rules were one corresponding to multiple and hard to perceive. The result of experiment1also show that the performance of students basing on actual facts was well, but the performance of finding hypothetical conditional rules was poor. The result of experiment3show there was no significant difference on the performance of the judgment of four logical propositions, The Accuracy Rate was very high.In summary, the first two experiment interpret weather having prompt can influence the induction of conditional propositions and the last experiment interpret General factors that influencing the induction of conditional propositions with the finding of differences coming form judgment of four logical expressions task.
