This thesis consists of three parts:introduction, body and conclusion. The introduction part explains the purpose of this study, the basic process of the study, and overviews the related literature and the theoretical foundations. The purpose of this study is to investigate the "Taoism" and its turning in order to have a better understanding of "Taoism" and explore the value of the book of "Huainanzi". The body part includes three chapters. The first chapter discusses the background, the author of the book, the school ownership of the book, as well as the understanding of "Taoism" and the eclectics. The thesis points out that "Huainanzi" which basically belongs to the school of "Huang-Lao Taoism" is actually different from the "Huang-Lao Taoism". Chapter two discusses the thoughts of "Taoism" and its turning from the ontology and generative theory, epistemology and dialectics, conception of social history view and political thought, the human personality theory and health care. It is concluded that the ontology, epistemology and the social historical view of " Huainanzi" not only inherited the characteristics of "Huang-Lao Taoism" but also began"to" return to the Lao-Zhuang Taoism and had learned from other schools combining the reality, which lead to the turning of Taoism. The third chapter mainly discusses the inheritance and development of "Huannanzi" for Taoism, the integration to Confucian school, the problems caused by its turning and its significance. We believe that it is the dual inheritance from Lao-Zhuang Taoism and Huang-Lao Taoism, coupled with the integration with Confucianism,Yinyang and so on that brought about so many contradictions in the book. The rich content and profound ideas had a far-reaching influence on the Taoism. The Conclusion summarizes the core insights of the thesis and the difficulties encountered in the study, as well as providing some suggestions for future research on "Huainanzi"...
