Study On The Scientific Development Thought Of Deng Xiaoping

Development is the theme of the times, and how to develop becomes the focus of the international society. China, as a developing socialist country, is in the process of the construction of socialist modernization. How to understand correctly and coordinate the relation between the development of economic and population, resources and environment becomes the primary and basic problem that we have to solve in the process of development. Deng Xiaoping combined the development principle of Marxism-Leninism with practice of Chinese construction. From the fundamental benefits of our people, he insisted and developed the development concept of Mao Zedong which based on the summaries of development experience of the international socialist countries and our own country. The development theory of Chinese characteristic socialism that Deng Xiaoping created in the great practice of reform and opening up, which provide scientific and theoretical guidance for the full-scale, coordinating, harmonious and sustainable development of social economic, and becomes the direct theoretical source of the scientific development.In today's new historical period, we have entered a new stage of development characterized by the building a well-to-do society through out the country. The Party Central Committee, Hu Jintao as the general secretary, proposed that we should adhere to the people-oriented thought, and set a full-scale, coordinating and sustainable development concept. The scientific outlook on development is the succession and development of development thought of three generations of central collective leadership of the party, and is the creative use of Deng Xiaoping's development thought. The deep research on Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought has important theoretical and practical significance for our fully grasping and deeply understanding of development strategy of the contemporary China.This paper studies Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought systemically, and expounds its theoretical origin, basic contents, theoretical features and historical significance at great length. As far as its logical structure, the paper consists of six parts, that is, preface, main body and peroration.Part 1 Preface. In this part, I briefly review the origin of this study, objectives and significance, current research situation abroad and at home, train of thought and methods of this paper, and so on.Part 2 The formation of Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought. This part discusses, from the historical perspective, the inhering relations of Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought with Marx, Engels, Lenin, especially Mao Zedong's development theory, and also expounds the practical foundation of the formation of Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought and stage division combined with the development practice of the socialist countries abroad and home of the 20th century.Part 3 The basic contents of Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought. This part states the scientific factors of Deng Xiaoping's development concept respectively from his people-orientated development concept, all-round and coordinated development concept of social structure, social power development concept of reform and opening up, and sustainable development concept of social economic, and based on these, makes a deep research on the scientific connotation of Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought.Part 4 Breakthroughs of Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought. Standing on the dimension of the combination of theory with practice, history with reality, this part demonstrates theoretical features of Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought from its practicality, affinity to the people, imbalance and openness. We also compares and analyzes historical breakthrough of Deng Xiaoping's development thought against traditional development concept combined our socialism exploring course after the foundation of our country.Part 5 The historical significance of Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought. This part further reviews the theoretical and practical significance of Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought from Deng Xiaoping's scientific development thought being as the succession of Marxism social development theory, theoretical foundation of Hu Jintao's the scientific outlook on development, and the practical guidance on building harmonious society.Part 6 Peroration. Here, we will make a summary about the present study. This part mainly states, in a new history period, we should continue insisting the guidance role of Deng Xiaoping's development concept, full-scale implementation of the development concept and promoting theoretical study on development problems. At the end of this part, we also points out limitations of the present study.
