This paper studies theAfrican constitutional reforms is hot topic in recent years, this paper discusses the objects including African constitutional history, parliamentary system, political party system, the electoral system, human rights protection, unconstitutional reviewing, etc.The end of 1980s, African democratic constitutional reforms in north Africa Algeria and West Africa first began, the benin to build multi-party system as the main content constitutional reforms agitation after they spread quickly, extended to throughout Africa. After 1994, most African countries have established a multi-party system based on constitutional system.After entering the middle 1990's, African democratic constitutional construction continues to further development. Most African nations successively through establishing and amending the multi-party elections and parliamentary elections early such measures to consolidate the constitutional reform achievement. By the end of 1999, there are 22 democratic country again held a multi-party election, the election of a constitutional democracy in realizing the consolidated, some realize the transition of power, have a plenty of realizing the new and old place. Right now ,53 African countries, in addition to Libya, Swaziland and eritrea counties outside, the rest of the 50 countries are subject to constitutional reforms, execute the multi-party democracy.Anyhow, since the mid 1990s African democratic politics, the economy has been consolidated anabiosises gradually, social order is stable more or less , African constitutional construction and development made gratifying achievements. Although some areas remain have some problems, and constitutional construction unrest, (such as tribalism conflicts, religious conflicts, and soldiers, also appeared in some new problems such as the old politics, the long-term ruling and a third term, etc), but the general development trend is constantly constitutional system to reinforce and perfect the trend of constitutional forward, Africa is beyond doubt.
