Population aging is a trend of population development in current society. The change of age frame is influencing all the aspects of social lives abroad. All the countries in the world are more and more focusing on this serious topic. According to the data of census display, the aging rate is rising unceasingly, the quantity of population in Shihezi is so large that the speed of aging growth is also faster than that of total population growth. The increasing aging population provides the good situations for Shihezi to develop the aging industry. But there are also some academic and practical problems, such as how to grasp the opportunities to promote the Shihezi aging industry and to meet the demand of the aged people.The article uses theories of Population aging, theories of Industrial Economics and theories of marketing and sales analyzes the status Shihezi City's aging industry and influencing factors of aging industry and uses the development experience of the aging industry and abroad as reference. Afterwards, the article puts forward the development strategy of aging industry.At present, there are some problems impede the development of Shihezi aging industry, such as lack of policy support, the contradiction between demand and support, lack of mass effect and supporting facilities and lack of innovation on service and development. The main causation of these problems are the effect of the aged income and consuming ways, the effect of the traditional views on aging industry, the distemperedness of admittance mechanism and management mechanism. In order to promote Shihezi aging industry develops with good quality and high speed, the article holds that it should analyze Shihezi advantages of geography and culture on developing aging industry, enhance government's induction and support and community aging service and so on.
