Analysis On Domestic Violence

Domestic violence (DV) as one of world problems with long history, since the 1960s has aroused extensive concern and research in the western scholars. In China, the study of domestic violence started fairly late. Until 1995 the World Conference on Women (FWCW) held in Beijing, China, the issue of domestic violence began to be given extensive attention and research. Scholars of different fields from different perspectives to study the issue of domestic violence and the causes of domestic violence, which is to seek sanctions against domestic violence intervention and effective way.Although scholars both at home and abroad on domestic violence problems from psychology, sociology, women's studies, law, crime victim to learn and other aspects of the explanation, but so far, we still don't have any field of any theory to domestic violence problems in a comprehensive explanation. In view of this, the author attempts to explore traditional Chinese culture because of family violence, and analyze the reasons, based on the proposed sanctions against domestic violence intervention and effective way,in order to be able to effectively reduce the incidence of domestic violence, will realize "give women a world without violence ".Based on the purposes of above, the paper use the problem of domestic violence as the research object, and the methods of history, comparison and others, which produced in traditional Chinese culture to explore the related factors of domestic violence . Combined with overseas research on domestic violence, seeking the effective ways and means to interfere and sanction domestic violence, so that the victims can have an early escape from domestic violence problems, and achieve the new social scene of unity and harmony.This paper mainly includes the following chapters:Chapter I, first of all is the definition of the concept of domestic violence, followed by relevant data which suggests that domestic violence widespread existence in our country's present situation, and finally discusses the harm caused by domestic violence, domestic violence not only harming to women's physical and mental health, endanger children's healthy development, but also against the social stability and orderly.Chapter II, analysing the main reason for the generation of domestic violence. First, the division of labour from the traditional agricultural society under the patriarchal make women become the object of violence. Second, China's traditional legal system requires the formation of the strengthening of the weak position of women. Third, the traditional thinking on the regulation of Chinese women with bound.On the one hand, the performance of the patriarchal concept of the social mainstream to provide justification for men to become perpetrators of violence; on the other hand, the performance of the subordinate role of women within the self and the shape, which lead to women losing self-awareness of rights, and formatting the tolerance of domestic violence.Chapter III, on the analysis of the influence of traditional Chinese culture on the dismination of women, pointed out that our country exists the real possibility of improving women's consciousness of right. The public education can effectively strengthen the wake of Chinese women's rights awareness, providing comprehensive social assistance system is the basic guarantee to awake the awareness of the rights of Chinese women's , and strengthening the legal maneuverability can effectively improve women's rights awareness.Chapter IV, this is part of the article's concluding remarks, pointing out that to change our present exist of domestic violence, all members of society need to work together to change society's misconceptions of domestic violence, and formate the concept of "domestic violence is illegal", so that you can awaken women's individual rights consciousness, which make women safeguard their legal rights and interests self-consciously, to the early realization of "give women a world without violence."...
