| With the establishment of China's socialist market economic system and the improvement of various reforms in our country, the veterans'social security system which had been formed during the planned economy has been facing many contradictions and problems. The United States, as the strongest military power in the world, has always paid much attention to veterans'social security issues. There are many reforms and changes of veterans'benefits issues in the history of America, even before its founding. And now the United States has formed a comprehensive system of assistance for veterans. As the most comprehensive system of assistance for veterans in the world, this system can be the most valuable reference model for our country.Based on this point, this article analyzed the US veterans'social security system, including its reform history and its framework. And then by comparing with our country's veterans'social security system, this article tries to find out the problems and deficiencies in our country's system. On the basis of American's experiences, combined with the current situation in our country, this article put forward several proposals for the improvement of our country's veterans'social security system. |
