Great Power Game Of North Korean Nuclear Issue

The North Korea's nuclear issue which can retrospect to 1950s has been one of the major problems that impact the region peace and steady of Northeast Asia. The two occurrences of nuclear crises have made North Korea once been the focus in contemporary international relationships. The North Korea's nuclear issue is not only a business of its own. The major sides of the issue are U.S.A and North Korea, but it actually refers to the interests of the other four counties. So the games of the issue are complicated and multilateral. It is necessary for us to analyze the problem that we make clear the strategy of each sides relating to the issue. In North Korea's view, developing nuclear weapons can not only bring its security interests, but also trade for economic interests. Viewed form U.S.A., North Korea having nuclear weapons has infringed upon its economic, political, military and security interests, that is not be permitted. Look in Korea, the issue is one of the most difficult problems to deal with, which needs the balance between"Alliance of U.S.A.—Korea"and"Unity of North Korea—Korea". To Japan, the nuclear crisis makes a good chance to pursue its goal of becoming a great political and military power. And to Russia, it's a favorable choice to attend the issue that can make it getting rid of the current disequilibrium national and international situation. Finally to China, the issue has much to do with the national interests of politics, economics and security. So we should try our best to make constructive contributions to solve the issue with our unique advantages.The primary cause of the issue which has not yet been solved effectively is the deep discredit between the two major sides, and it is lack of a monitoring and sanction system to insure the performance of each sides'duty. To get out of the game's dilemma, America and North Korea should have to strengthen communication with each other, China should fully play its role as a bridge and linkage, at the same time, the mechanism of this game should be improved. Each side should build the new idea of cooperative security so that we can form the foundation of the multilateral security regime of Northeast Asia.
