On Dong Zhongshu The 'political Ethical Thought And Run Mechanism

In this paper, we use "accurately describing", "understanding the regulation of change" and "seeking for the cause " as the basic path to research ,which aims to inspect Dong Zhongshu's Political Ethics thoughts from the social, political, economic and cultural dimensions of the early Western Han Dynasty, and systematically analyze and research Dong Zhongshu's Political Ethics thoughts and its operational mechanism from the perspective of dynamic society, mainly through the Chunqiufanlu, Shibuyufu and other related works for further study. Dong Zhongshu's Political Ethics thoughts is studied in an objective evaluating way through using "technology-based processing"——an icon-based, logic-based and forms-based method.This paper is made of three primary parts:preface, divided discussion and general comment. The preface analyses the situation with regard to the study of Dong Zhongshu's Political Ethics thoughts .The divided discussion analyses the historical casue, theoretical sources, fundamental structure, historical influence and so on. In the general comment, this paper disputes Dong Zhongshu's political and ethical traits and life tragedy.Dong Zhongshu has reformed and developed the political and ethical thoughts of the pre-Qin period's traditional Confucianism, which is basically fit to the political need of safeguarding autocratic monarchy and realizing the political unity of the Western Han Dynasty, even directly completes the combination of the Confucianism and the realistic politics and finally becomes the unique element of instructing and affecting the ideology of autocratic monarchy. Dong Zhongshu and his political and ethical thoughts play an important role in the history of the ancient thoughts of China. The feature of Dong's political and ethical thoughts is to integrate the characteristics of every school's thoughts. His theory has shown the inheritance and transcendence to the spirit of the traditional Confucian, as well as the basic characteristics of the inclusive and systematic.To sum up,Dong Zhongshu,as an important personage in the development of the confucianism,not only inherited the thoughts of his pioneers but also has been inspiring the aftercomers.Especially,he proposed " political unity" ," three cardinal guides and five constant virtues ", "corresponding mutuality between heaven and man" and so on, as the legitimacy theoretical basis and the basic paradigm to build political ethics for the ancient Han empire and its thereafter. Moreover, these ideas generated the far-reaching influence in the history of Chinese ethical thoughts.
