Advancement of technology and globalization promote the growing number of international maritime activities, marine activities in the human bring considerable economic benefits, but also generated a lot of problems, and in front of a series of menacing problems, the international law of the sea a bit helpless . In this context, the article on the relevant issues in depth. The paper describes the international law of the sea in the marine environment pollution, the crime of piracy, the island on the basis of the rules of the system, but also on today's hot issues in marine activities, including the Gulf of Mexico oil leakage problem, the problem of piracy in Somalia and the Islands of disputes in the red bird reef and the Diaoyu Islands are analyzed, and finally, for the most important international law of the sea - Origin of "United Nations Convention on Law of the Sea," made the appropriate amendments.
