Learning the latest domestic and foreign theory can help to develop our political resources and enlighten us on how to carry out the policy of democratic supervision. The author analyses the importance of strengthening democratic supervision by democratic parties and its contribution to the political civilization of our country. Considering the experience and current condition of democratic supervision by democratic parties in China, the author put up some proposals on strengthening democratic supervision by democratic parties in our country to face up with new challenges and seize new opportunities.The author uses the research method of combining theory with practice. The first part is instruction, which includes background and significance of this subject, the research status, discussion and methods, structure, features of this article. The second part tells about basic theory of democratic supervision by democratic parties with elaborate explaination of implications, connotation, particular advantage, value and function of democratic supervision by democratic parties. In the third part, a review of democratic supervision by democratic parties and its new problems under new situation, the author states the situation of democratic supervision by democratic parties during the following three periods:New Democracy, early new foundation and early reform and opening-up and after the reform and opening-up period. Then the author discusses new problems and missions faced nowadays. The forth part explores the problems existing and the reasons in four aspects. In the fifth part, consideration on strengthening democratic supervision by democratic parties in China, the author discusses how to strengthen democratic supervision by democratic parties in the following four aspects, reasonal easonable orientation, improving the mechanism, playing together and strengthening self-construction.There is several innovations of this thesis, its investigation into the problems of democratic supervision by democratic parties and the reasons. The reasons are complicate with some rooting from history, some from ideology and other from mechanism. Only clearly knowing the reasons can we make right policies to strengthen democratic supervision by democratic parties.
