This thesis expounds the relationship between the Marine Resources Disputes and the Territorial Sea Disputes on South China Sea, as well as their essence, reasons and ways of International Law.Since the 1970s, the issue of South China Sea has arised. The Marine Resources Disputes and territorial sea Disputes between the countries of Southeast Asia and China are related to fundamental national interests, and will impact the region stability. Solving the issues of disputes on maritime and island claims is the final aim of solving the problem of rights and interests disputes in Marine Resources. Meanwhile, resolving the issues of rights and interests disputes in Marine Resources is the very essence and key point of disputes on maritime and island claims, and is the front of resolving the disputes on maritime and island claims. This thesis analyzes the essence and the domestic and international reasons of rights and interests disputes in Marine Resources in South China Sea, affirmance, appliance and progress of the principal of peaceful settlement of international disputes on International Law of the Sea, and ways to treat the rights and interests disputes with surrounding countries in Marine Resources in South China Sea during the practice of external contacts. This thesis makes every effort to analyze some systematic phenomenons in order to find out the approach to peaceful settlement of rights and interests disputes in Marine Resources in South China Sea, and further settlement of territorial disputes including disputes on maritime and island claims of China, by questing and analyzing the reasons of International Law, international system in East Asia and Southeast Asia, surrounding countries in South China Sea and China side.
