Purely Economic Damages Study

Pure economic loss has been a hot topic in the study of comparative law in recent years, while the research on the topic began very late in our country and the present legislation is lack of regulation on it. But there are still more and more cases about pure economic loss in our judicial practice. The Common Law System and Continental Law System have formed quite mature regulations patterns on this problem. Our judicial practice need more deep law research and mature legal regulations. The research methods of this paper mainly include comparison method of analysis, classification research methods and case analysis.There are four chapters in the body of this paper. The first chapter is about the basic theoretical issues of pure economic loss, including the definition, feature and types. The second chapter introduces the regulation mode of two legal systems through the comparative analysis method. The third chapter summarizes the pure economic loss in our legislation and judicial practice. The last chapter is about the building of our legislation mode on pure economic issue.
