The problem of happiness has always been a topic of concern to people. But what is happiness in the end? Is the people who be given great satisfaction of material needs happy? These questions bring lots of deep thought to us. Viewing the history of various theories of happiness, they all have one way or another different defect. After the birth of Marxism, Marxist concept of happiness, which formed on the basis of Marx's human nature filled the defects of the happiness theory of rationalism and emotional doctrine and improve the content of happiness. Marxist concept of happiness analyzed the relationship between collective happiness and personal happiness. It believed that the two were not contradictory, but an organic of the whole. Marxist concept of happiness is the unity of material life and spiritual life, the unity of labor and to creation, and the organic unity of individual happiness and collective well-being.China is in the special period which the economic is rapid developing; the understanding of happiness is also changing with the times. At present, people regard happiness more and more important, not only pursuit to meet the needs of national life, more notably, the proportion of spiritual needs are increasing, the extension of happiness is also growing. Party Center Committee has proposed the idea of building a harmonious society requires the harmony between man and nature, the harmony between people, material and spiritual. The most prominent is the relationship between the man and nature, or the man and ecological environment , harmony between man and the environment is always one variety of happiness, how to achieve this harmony requires the joint effort of human beings, on this basis, we can survive for the future generation to leave them a better environment.
