In the early days (1949-1956) of the founding of New China, China underwent a profound shift in social patterns. The Communist Party of China, changing from revolutionary to ruling party, faced critical challenges from the complex domestic and international situations and the social construction issues. Under the leadership of the Central Committee with comrade Mao Zedong as the core, guided by the Marxist theory of party construction, the Party reviewed the party's historical experience in the cultural construction of the democratic revolution stage, learned models and experiences from the the Communist Party in the Soviet Union and other countries, considered the actual situation in China, and continuously carried out theoretical exploration and political practice, successfully completed the transformation of the national economy and the socialist system and consolidated the newborn, people's democratic government.From the unique perspective of organizational culture with a multidisciplinary theoretical method, we analyze the political party's ideology, ruling system, discipline, style, value and the image construction during the special historical period and summarize and extract the unique law and special experiences for the party cultural construction. This would provide particularly important guidance and reference for the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and strengthening, improving and innovating the construction of the Party and enhancing the governing ability as a ruling party.The main content of this paper is the following.The first chapter is the "Introduction", describing the significance of topic selection,the current research status, and research methodology.The second chapter provides a systematic analysis for the concepts of party culture, comparisons of the different concepts between the political culture, organizational culture, and the construction of a political party, and the definition of the scientific connotation for party culture. In the third chapter, we analyze the practice and exploration of the cultural construction of the Chinese Communist Party during the early days of the founding of the nation. We also investigate the social transformation, the change of the connotation of the Chinese Communist Party culture change, and the construction of a democratic culture in the party during that time. We also summarize the historical experience of the cultural construction of the Party during the early days of the founding of the new China.The fourth chapter presents an interpretation and analysis for the characteristics of the culture construction of the Party during the early time of the founding of the new China.In the fifth chapter we summarize and analyze the implication of experience during the early days of the founding of the new China to today's cultural construction of the Party.
