Promote student understanding is the main objective of teaching, mathematical knowledge because of its own complexity,understanding is more important, therefore, the teacher's core task is to deepen the students understanding of knowledge. Information technology refers to computer and multimedia technology as the core network, it changes the information technology delivery and acceptable manner, but also change the mathematics teaching and learning environment, information technology, with its visual presentation, dynamic presentations, simulations, dynamic measurement, and other unique advantages for the creation of mathematics teaching situations, multiple representation, through the process of providing help to enhance the students understanding of mathematical knowledge.This system describes the meaning of mathematical understanding, dimension, level, function, design the questionnaire on a high school math teachers in the information technology support of the teaching of mathematics to understand the implementation of the investigation, the findings are not ideal for the construction of the information technology in the creation of situations, multiple representation, through the process of understanding the aspects of teaching help, from the theoretical and practical aspects are discussed the teaching design to promote mathematics understanding .The main results of this study and characteristics are as follows:(1) Mathematics understanding of and information technology related issues are summarized. Reference a number of documents and writings in this area, with cognitive psychology and constructivism as a framework to analysis the meaning of mathematics understanding, and on this basis, sums up my view of mathematics understanding, then on the mathematics understanding of related issues such as mathematics understanding of the model, type, level, dimensions, function, etc, were carded. Stated the meaning of information technology simply, and summarized the impact of it in the educational content, teachers, students, teaching methods, learning styles. Cognitive,constructivism, humanism is based on information technology revealed help the teaching of mathematics understanding.(2) From the teacher's cognition and implementation of mathematics understanding, the use of information technology, the role of information technology in teaching of mathematics understanding…the three fields, design 27 questions to survey high school math teachers in the form of questionnaires , the results obtained are:①teachers attached great importance to promote student understanding of mathematics, also actively implement this idea of promote student understanding of mathematics in the teaching of their own.②teachers higher frequency of use of multimedia, the use level remain low in most of the teachers to information technology as a tool for content delivery, do not recognize it as a cognitive tool.③most teachers up to the information technology used in the creation of situations, and do not realize it is in mathematics teaching multiple representation, showing the formation of the tools of knowledge. Based on the results of this survey is not ideal, this article from the creation of situations, multiple representation, the formation of information technology in which a specific interpretation of the role.(3) In connection with the inadequate of traditional instructional design, in the environment of information technology support, through the analysis of selected topics, instructional design, the role of information technology, revealing the essence of instructional design, reconstruct the instructional design framework of mathematics understanding of.
