Since the new reform of curriculum, the status of primary English teaching has improved. At the same time, the research about tactics of primary English teaching has become a focal point. In recent years, the retelling text tactics in higher primary English teaching has been concerned. This thesis is based on the research about the development and the theory of the retelling text tactics. It analyzes the status of retelling text tactics in higher primary English teaching to consummate it. Linked with the writer's teaching experience, it offers the useful and practical teaching model, which named "The Trilogy of Retelling Text". "The Trilogy of Retelling Text" is composed of "Class Teaching Model", "Extending Teaching Model" and "Project Teaching Model". They are interrelated and complementary. The thesis provides the effects about "the trilogy of retelling text", which has been put into teaching practice. The thesis summarized the practical experience and problems to provide advice and reference for the research about retelling text tactics in primary English teaching in the future.
