"Emotion, attitude and value", "knowledge and skill" and "process and method" form the three dimensional objects of biological education. Along with the impelling of new curriculum's reform, education gradually expands from the view of the intelligence field to non-intelligence field. The teaching material bio-science history is chosen as the carrier for this research because it contains rich educational values, which determine its unique roles in cultivating the students'emotions, attitudes and values in biology teaching. The theory and empirical research methods are adopted in this research, studying how high school students'emotions, attitudes and values develop with the teaching material, Bio-science history. For the theory part, the related research progress both at home and abroad is first introduced, and then the basic theory involved physiology, pedagogy and psychology is discussed in brief. For the part of empirical research, based on the three dimensions, a preliminary research is conducted on the texts of Bio-science history, putting forward some teaching strategies which can be employed properly in teaching practice. Besides, an education experiment research follows the theory studied above. The results show that students'emotions and attitudes have been significantly developed after the teacher has used bio-science history as the teaching material. After a school year, the great differences between the control class and the ordinary class prove that this teaching interference is effective. In addition, if the functions of the bio-science history on developing students'"emotion, attitude and value"are to work well, teachers should not only enhance the understanding of the value of bio-science history but apply the teaching strategies to class properly and reasonably as well.
