The essay focuses on the meaning and contents of science quality. It stresses that the science history of biology plays an important role in education and development of students'science quality in Senior Biology. It shows that science is a process, provides examp0les for studying and combining science and hunane education. Science history of biology uncovers people's thinking process of thingking of and solving biology problems; the history of different subjects'forming and the connection among them. It tells us that the nature of natural science and that the process of each language point is the process of researching, we can learn scientists'scientific attitudes, spirits and world outlooks. Then by means of analyzing the cases in teaching, I put forward the ways to develop students'science quality through science history of biology. It represents and analyzes the results of experiments, which show tis possibility and key role. Aims:First, on the basis of systematic studies and sorting out the teaching materials, it further digs out the scientific elemetns (such as scientific spitit, scientific thingking, scientific methods and so on) and humane elements (including dialectical materialism, patyriotism, hard struggle spirit, cooperation spirit, treasuring life, loving nature, envirnmental protection etc.). Second, according to the lack of some contents of science history of biology, it clearly states or adds further some and studies its value in education. Third, it explores the ways to develop students'science quality in teaching. Fourth, it also explores what roles it plays in teaching. Through the comparasion and analysis between the experimental and common classes in one grade, we draw the following conclusions:Firstly, infiltration of science history of biology into teching process can obbiously improve students'grades.Secondly, it can imjprove students'ability to do experiments.Thirdly, it can make the class lively.Fourthly, it can lead students'acts and concepts to develop positively.
