A Comparative Research On The Competence Of The Inside Players' Offences And Defenses In Men's Basketball Between China And Foreign Countries In The 16th World Basketball Championship

On the ending of championship in Turkey, Chinese men's basketball achieved a result, one win and five defeats, which is not satisfying but the outstanding performance are appreciated by both fans and professionals. For Chinese men's basketball, the great achievement is a successful transformation from the team leaded by Yao to the one without Yao, during which the inside players'contribution, especially Yi Jianlian is significant. The performance of Yi Jianlian is encouraging and outstanding, during which he become the first person who got the 20+10 in world competition for Chinese Mens'Basketball. However, the individual performance of the inside players is not on the same level and the difference from the world best teams is clear, and it become an important barrier for Chinese Men's Basketball to be a part of the world best teams.On the basis of the statistics among Chinese team, the opponents, as well as the top three inside players, and a comprehensive comparative research on the Chinese team, the opponent, as well as the top three inside players by watching the video, this paper is aimed to analyze the characteristics of the best inside players in the world, find the limits of the competence of the inside players'offences and defenses and then provide a theoretic basis for the training and competition of Chinese men's basketball so as to bridge the gap between Chinese man's basketball and the best players in the world. On the basis of literature review, video, mathematical statistics and contrast analysis, some findings can be obtained from this paper:(1)Chinese Men's Basketball inside players have some advantages in height and weight, but this is not much helpful in competition.(2)Comparing the best teams in the world, the proportion of the inside players'scoring is low in the whole team with the competence of scoring is weak.(3)The difference of the competence of defensive rebounds is not clear between the inside players of Chinese men's basketball and the foreign ones, but the ability to start a fast break after getting defensive rebounds is worse; The competence of offensive rebounds and the consicious of crash the board are weak.(4) Comparing the best teams in the world, the competence of assisting is high, but the competence of the block and steal are weak(.5)Comparing the best teams in the world, the competence of confrontation and the cooperation of tactical are weak.(6)Comparing the best teams in the world, the times of foul of Chinese Men's Basketball is little and the times of misplay is too much.
