Research On The Defensive Ability Of Chinese Men's Basketball Inside Players In The 2019 Basketball World Cup

With the continuous improvement of basketball level and the continuous development of the competitive concept of "attack and defense balance,attack in defense",the defensive ability of the inside player has become the key to whether the team can restrict and defeat the opponent in the game.This paper makes a statistical analysis of the data of the five games of Chinese men's basketball team in the 2019 Basketball World Cup,and analyzes the ability of defending players without the ball,defending players with the ball,defending players with the ball,assisting in defense,and rebounding in the backcourt by using the methods of literature review,video analysis,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics.This paper mainly studies the defensive ability of Chinese men's basketball inside players,aiming to find out the problems and summarize the characteristics,so as to provide some theoretical references for further improving the defensive ability of Chinese men's basketball inside players.The research results of this paper are as follows:1.Chinese men's basketball inside players Yi Jianlian,Zhou Qi,Wang Zhilin and Ren Junfei are all outstanding in height,low in weight,small in Kleto index and insufficient in confrontation,resulting in poor defensive effect.2.Yi Jianlian is the most capable defensive player in the Chinese men's basketball court.In the face of players without the ball,Yi jianlian usually adopts semi-circular front defense(low post)and close-body defense(high post),and is able to effectively limit the opponent's attack while playing a lot of defense.3.With his height advantage,Zhou Qi is used to defending players without the ball behind his back(low post)and in close range(high post),and his overall defense performance is poor.When facing playersholding the ball,Zhou qi is aware of his lack of confrontation,and usually adopts a close-range defense to avoid confrontation and try to interfere with the opponent's shots with his arm span.Zhou is the team's best rebounder,but tends to foul when defending.4.Zhelin wang has standard inside body,lower limb strength solid strong,but the upper body strength slightly insufficient,rebounding screens ability outstanding,because their movement speed slower,ball players on the defensive,the zhelin wang often choose the fronting defense(low),and(high),over a long distance to the other players defensive pressure ahead of time.Wang zhulin is the best inside player in China to limit opponents' long-range shooting percentage.5.Ren Junfei belongs to the fourth position,and his main defensive area is near the free throw line.Facing the high players without the ball,Ren junfei is accustomed to stick defense and close defense,and usually chooses to delay chasing defense when facing the high pick-and-roll.6.In the five World Cup matches,The Chinese men's basketball inside players have shown outstanding ability in defending the ball and effectively limiting the opponents' scoring,while the ability of defending the ball from high positions needs to be improved,so it is necessary to further improve the ability of predicting the opponent's intention and interfering the opponent's attack.His overall performance in backcourt rebounding was disappointing.
