Research On The Descendants Folk Beliefs Of Jurchen People In Jingchuan Gansu Province

Wanyan Village located by the Jing River, seven kilometers far from Jingchuan Town to the north, there lived a group of people who were the descendent of the old minority of Jurchen People. These papers start from the old Shamanic ritual ancestor warship to get a glimpse of Jurchen's desire of flourishing population and blesses from ancestors, in order to make the future generation not forget. Because of the legend of Wanyan's ancestor—the Baihua princess, Wanyan people believe in the Virgin Goddess Huangfu, which shows the cultural integration of Han and Jurchen. March 15th in lunar, Wanyan people will have a ancestor warship ceremony, according to the tradition of shaman, offering the sacrifices to god need to drumming. And during that period, people will also worship the bugs to protect the crops. The whole village will go to the tomb of Huangfu in Baozi Mountain of Jiudingheihua Mountain to worship her. They believe in Han ethnic goddess created a precedent. This paper is divided into five parts. In the first fart, the author writes the origins of writing ideas and researching methods, teased out Wanyan's recent academic research and media repots. Showed nearly 15 years time of the researches of Wanyan village. In part two, the author writes the natural and social environment of Wanyan village and the origins and historical relics of history. Part three starting from the Wanyan's tombs and old shrine, anal sized Wanyan's ancestor worship ceremony—"Jiaoyuanhui" and wanyan's national pride and potential national character from the ceremony. In part four, the author writes the unique interpretation of a national religion—Huangfu virgin. Described the temple as well as the reason Jurchen people believe in Huangfu. Analyzed the functional significances. The fifth part is the last part of this paper as well as the conclusion parts, namely the integration of Jurchen people and Ways to integrate social order.
