With the development of globalization, English as a foreign language has become more and more popular. The teaching of English language in high school has a very important position. Writing is undoubtedly important in English language study. Teaching English writing has always been a difficult point in a high-school English teaching .Today, the defects of traditional English teaching make students come across plenty of difficulties in the process of writing. Many researchers have made a lot of research in the teaching English writing from many aspects. The new criterion of English course in senior middle school makes great demand on writing in language studies. As a result, how to improve the level of English writing is an important task.We can find that Chinese learners make mistakes because of the Chinese English in writing. How to solve the problem is a difficulty task in front of teachers. In the practice, the writer thinks that the traditional teaching method should be improved. The emerging of corpus provides a good way for the research of language performance. So the writer adopts a systematic research and grope for a practical way to use CLEC to correct the Chinese English in line with the New Criteria of English Course.This thesis first talks about Chinese English and corpus, gives the definition of Chinese English, and analyzes the root causes of its formation. The writer tries to use corpus to help students decrease the emerging of Chinese English. So the students can overcome the ills of Chinese English in the translation process. Students can improve English writing. The writer tries to direct students to revise their compositions by themselves and build up corpus that is small-sized. A period of research shows that using CLEC can correct the Chinese English in English writing in some way. But this result should be verified in the process of teaching.
