Whether native or second language, writing is a process which is used to exchange ideas with the effective words . It's also used to judge the students'language comprehension . However, every teacher in the current teaching situation should think about a question– how to improve students'writing skills effectively when they study English in a big class . Ninth-grade students are going to graduate from the junior high school, so the time is very limit, which requires the teaching efficiency. Under the pressure of the admissions rates and the limit time , many ninth-grade English teachers give up some students . At the same time, each student's learning ability is different. The environment, families and individual students with different learning motivations will lead to learning difficulties. In writing, the gap between the students is obvious. Some students'problem is vocabulary, others'is perhaps the grammar, and so on. Teachers shouldn't give up any students just because of lacking the time . Society needs people which have different talents. Basic education can not ignore the students which have the difficulties in study .So, the author put forward a feasibility advice on three types of English compositions in senior high school entrance examination by reading amounts of relative books , articles and the author's own teaching experience .The author also study ninth-grade English writing lessons and the English writing situations of the ninth-grade students by questionnaires . The author hopes to help other English teachers improve their English writing teaching skills and to increase the quality of the English writing teaching .
