Research purposes:The present paper attempts to investigate the general situation of sport injury. For this purpose, the author has collected data in the form of questionnaires to amateur badminton players in Xi'an city and badminton majors at university. According to the results of the questionnaires, the pathogenic factors of common chronic injury were analyzed from the perspective of kinematics in order to understand possible reasons of sports injury. This paper also offers some related suggestions to let the amateurs take reasonable precautions, reducing sports injury, and provides reference and theory basis for badminton teaching and amateurs. Research Methods:A total of 317 questionnaires were administrated to amateur badminton players in Xi'an city and badminton majors who take part in the elective course to explore the issues of sports injury and discuss the reasons of it.25 typical cases who got chronic sport injury were the subjects of the present study; some usual techniques movements were video camera-recorded for subsequent analysis. Through video analysis, the author calculated the angles of subjects'knee, waist, shoulder, elbow and moving range, analyzing the technical questions in the process of sporting, and explored the reasons of chronic sports injuries to provide theory basis as well as suggestions for preventing chronic sports injuries and improving future badminton teaching from the perspectives of kinematics.Results:1. The results show that most of the amateur badminton players have chronic sport injury during the exercise:the major parts of body with chronic sport injury are knee(48.48%), elbow(48.38%), waist(71.42%) and shoulder(60.71%). The major reasons of sport injury are irregular technical act, high-intensity of the exercise, poor physical fitness and lack of sufficient preparation.2. Kneecap strain mainly attributes to the incorrect footwork, the angle of knee bending is too large (over 90 degrees), leading to overloaded consequences. 3. Lumbar strain mainly results from some techniques used frequently in the badminton sport, such as hitting the ball with the head and approaching the net passively to save the ball. The waist moves in a large extent and overloads in a large extent, chronic injuries are caused by long-term and wide-range sharp movement.4. Shoulders move the largest scope in badminton sports, the soft tissues have to bear larger force and friction, the technology used is extremely high, causing repetitive shoulder muscles in a nervous and overloaded state, which is easy to cause shoulder chronic injury. When vigorously hitting, large smashing forces the elbows to stretch excessively, pulling tendons attached in external humeral external humeral condyles, causing subtle damage, long-term training can lead to elbow chronic injury.Conclusion:1. The injury of amateur badminton players is chronic, and the major parts of body with chronic sport injury are knee, waist, should and elbow. Injury mainly includes joint strain, muscle and ligament injury.2. The main reasons of injury are lack of standard sports skills, inadequate preparation, high-intensity of the exercise and poor physical fitness.3. The angle of knee bending at the range of 110°-160°is apt to cause kneecap strain; excessive bending, stretching, siding and screwing are all likely to produce lumbar muscle strain; should abduction over 160°, and oversize movements of internal rotation are possible to cause rotator cuff injury; elbow medial rotation and lager external angel prepare the force of driving the arms in the process of hitting.
