| As the most basic badminton technique, serve is not only the first step of competition and tactical evolution, but also a special technique that is completely not subject to the opponents in terms of all the badminton techniques and tactics.During badminton competition process, serve technique mainly consists of two types: forehand serve technique and backhand serve technique;according to the landing area,it is also categorized into short serve in front of net and long and high serve in back court.Choosing the proper serve ways can maximize the benefits of serve.Research purpose: analyze and summarize the movement characteristics of forehand and backhand serve techniques,in order to explain the rationality and scientific basis of the theory that“backhand serve is used for short serve in fore court, and forehand serve technique is applicable for long and high serve in back court” from the perspective of kinematics. Therefore, players will be promoted to grasp the principles of proper use of these techniques while learn how to use the techniques, thus giving full play to serve techniques.Research methods: based on previous related researches and knowledge of badminton serve techniques, the paper has adopted research methods such as literature review, test method and mathematical statistics to test relevant kinematics parameters of forehand and backhand serve techniques of 6 female badminton female players from Shenyang Sports University. The average values of all indicators of each one’s 3 shots have been selected for the sake of analysis.Research conclusions: 1.Each period and overall time of backhand serve technique are shorter than that of forehand serve technique, therefore,on the premise of same shot effect, backhand serve technique is more inconspicuous.2.Swing distance of forehand serve technique is longer than that of backhand serve technique. In relatively short time, forehand serve technique will be more powerful with a long distance of speeding up swing.3.Contact point of backhand serve technique is higher than that of forehand serve technique, which is closer to body and can reduce the time of ball to fly around the court after shot. While forehand serve technique is lower in terms of contact point, which is closer to the right side of body and thus increase the angle between ball and ground after shot.4.Movement sequence of forehand serve technique is: right hip-right shoulder-right elbow-right wrist. It is a typical whiplash movement.Movement sequence of backhand serve technique is: right hip-right shoulder-right elbow-right wrist. The resultant velocity of shoulder jointand elbow joint is relatively small so that “flash wrist” of wrist joint is mainly relied upon to improve swing speed.Although it does not belong to typical whiplash movement,it can achieve the same whip effect to some extent.5.Through comparison of serve technique structures,it has concluded from the perspective of relevant kinematics parameters that backhand serve technique is more consistent in terms of movement structure in whole serve process and is deceptive in a sense. |
