With the development of the society, gender justice has become one of hot topic, and many researchers have paid attention to education with the hope of realizing gender equality through education. Although people born in biological differences in sex naturally, the awareness of gender and gender justice are cultivated through education and training of the social life. With the popularizing of school education in present, it plays an important role in people's life. Nowadays, textbooks are tools of school education for students, so we have to pay attention to that whether it can display the values of gender justice or not. Especially, Chinese textbooks are not only full of knowledge, but also the carrier of culture. For the existence of their cultural diversity, the students will be cultivated right values through the Chinese textbooks. But unfortunately, the analysis showed the textbooks are gender inequity and social stereotype exists in them. The traditional culture combined with other factors strongly ruled the unfair culture of gender inequalities in the long period, and the textbooks is under controlled by these factors. Under the implementation of the new basic education curriculum reform, many experts and scholars began a research program of gender in textbooks. This study will take the Chinese textbooks for secondary students of People's Education Press as an example. Through analyzing the culture gender of the six copies textbook, including illustrations and text authors, titles and figures, the unfair gender culture will be revealed. On the analysis of gender, text figures would concentrate on four aspects:number, role, capability and character. Then some reasonable suggestions will be put forward to writers and teachers of the textbooks to improve the quality of the textbooks and language teaching.
