With the doctrine on human's survival and comprehensive development in Marx humanistic philosophy as theoretical guidance, and life-long education construction as the practical basis, this article absorbs the research findings in philosophy, psychology, education and other related disciplines at home and abroad, makes a beneficial exploration of the significance and value of lifelong education at the level of human survival and development, aims to deepen the humanistic philosophical foundation of lifelong education and promote the practical development of lifelong education by studying the primary relationship between lifelong education and human, and highlighting the essential status of being a good man.This article includes three parts:the first part mainly explains the theoretical basis of humanistic philosophy. It firstly conducts a full inspection on the core of humanistic philosophy, the concept "human", which thinks that the interpretation of human should be multidimensional, in other words, be conducted under a multi-level theory and unified on the basis of the reality of human survival and development. Secondly, it develops a systematic discussion about the basic features of humanistic philosophy, which points that humanistic philosophy, under the premise of the unity of historic materialism and dialectics, is established on a correct understanding of human and based on human survival and practice with human's comprehensive and free development as its goal to build the "people-oriented" philosophy.The second part focuses on the significance of lifelong education for qualified existence of human. Education is produced and developed out of the need of human survival and development. The purpose of the educated to receive education is precisely in order to survive, and ensure the latter generations to live a better life. Lifelong education, as a new form of education to adapt to changing times, pays more attention to the level of human survival. Through a series of specific educational practices, lifelong education strives to obtain equal education right for human, and some necessary producing and living skills to survive, and then provide a guarantee of high quality material and spiritual life-support for every living person, ultimately, let people rely on this unique way of life-lifelong education to enhance the value of their survival.The third part is based on the understanding of the doctrine about human's comprehensive development and lifelong education to discuss the significance of lifelong education for human development. The all-round development is a dynamic process, and the corresponding education will only find its long-lasting form of education in the dynamic development. Lifelong education is such a persistent form of education available to all human which is committed to human's lifelong development. Through providing the learners with selective education life and all possible conditions for learning. it tries every possible way to meet the diverse and multi-level developing needs of human,and promote the formation of universal human interaction, and ultimately fully realizes human's free development on the aspects of practice, consciousness and creativity.
