"The curriculum standard in chemistry of ordinary senior high school (trial implementation)"was issued by the ministry of education in 2003. The curriculum reform in chemistry of senior high school started to implement. The new curriculum standards from idea to the content to the form have occurred profound changes, especially have showed the tendency of "study chemistry through the experiment". It fully pays attention to the vital role of the chemical experiment in cultivating students' scientific literacy and comprehensive ability, puts forward that the students in senior high school ought to be achieve the three-dimensional research goal of the knowledge and skills, process and methods, emotional attitudes and values.Based on the current situation and development of experimental teaching in chemistry of senior high school at home and abroad, this paper regarded the basic idea of"The curriculum standard in chemistry of ordinary senior high school (trial implementation)"as the theoretical bases of research, investigated and researched the current situation of experimental teaching in chemistry of senior high school from 23 provinces and cities nationwide using questionnaires and interview, had a rough and total understanding on the implementation of the new curriculum standard in chemistry of senior high school and the current situation of experimental teaching in view of overall and macroscopic, analyzed some problems of the implementation of the new curriculum experimental teaching in chemistry of senior high school. On that basis, this paper took the curriculum concept, lifelong education theory, the innovation education theory, modern cognitive learning theory, constructivism theory and chemical experiment teaching theory of"The curriculum standard in chemistry of ordinary senior high school (trial implementation)"as the theoretical foundation, constructed experimental mode suitable for different economic area which easy to operate and promote in terms of the experimental conditions, experimental goal, experimental content, experimental form, experimental teaching methods and means, experimental evaluation. It was suitable for the basic mode of undeveloped areas, development mode of medium economic areas and the innovation mode of the developed areas. According to the new experimental model, this paper designed the teaching case, selected developmental experimental model suitable for medium economic areas and did the feasibility investigation and practice research. The implementary effect was very obvious. The students'experimental grades and experiment ability have greatly improved, which indicated that it was a kind of experimental model which was worth to spread.
