Energy is the important material foundation in the human life and economic development. All kinds of economic activity depend on it. It is also the sign of the level of economic development in human society. With the energy problems rising, people pay more and more attention to the rational utilization of energy, exploitation of new energy and human sustainable development. Energy education also arouses people's attention and is developing rapidly. School education is one which can have an effect on people's thoughts and behavior all their life. Middle school is an important period, in which a man's ideas and ideologies form and become mature. Chemistry has a unique vision, which is closely related with the characteristics of energy problems. This paper adopts document analysis, text analysis and case analysis, through which the problems on energy education are studied in middle school chemistry teaching. Concerning the knowledge of energy education in all the middle school chemistry teaching, I would like to put forward some suggestions on construction of education goals, content system, choices of teaching contents and the way of teaching. This article is divided into six chapters:Chapter 1: Five aspects will be studied in this paper, such as the background, the subject, the present situation, the significance and the methods.Chapter 2: The connotation, purposes, contents and characteristics of energy education will be expounded in this chapter.Chapter 3: This chapter includes the analysis of the feasibility of combination of middle school chemistry teaching and energy education, the analysis of the content of middle school chemistry teaching. Through the study of this period, the characteristics of students, the relationship between chemistry and energy education, and the characters of the teaching contents, the conclusion of possibilities of the combination of middle school chemistry teaching and energy education is drawn. The demand of energy education in middle school chemistry and suggestions and the implementation of the content and the energy education in the textbooks published by the People's Education Press are summarized so that the implementation of the characteristics of the energy education in middle school chemistry teaching of the present stage are known.Chapter 4: This chapter is the central part of the whole thesis. The present situation of our current energy education are the following. No special energy education course is taught in middle schools. There is little popular energy knowledge in some related subjects.There is no definite teaching demand or goal for it, either. Besides, the little popular energy knowledge is arranged separately. Moreover, target system, content requirement of the energy education the whole middle school chemistry teaching is not clear. So construction of education goals and content system in middle school chemistry teaching will be focused.Chapter 5: Based on the suggestions and the implementation of energy education in middle school chemistry discussed in the third chapter mentioned above, the theory about energy education in middle school chemistry is relatively more while the theory is relatively less used in the daily life and production. As a result, it seems more important that we should find a way that we implement the content of energy education more effectively and reasonably. Thinking of what I have just mentioned, in this chapter I would like to give some advice which focuses on the implementation and method of energy education in the middle school chemistry teaching.Chapter 6: Presented in the fifth chapter the implementation and method of energy education for teaching activities among the teaching cases. I would like to clarify the feasibility of implementing energy education in middle school chemistry teaching with two typical teaching plans on energy education. The two teaching cases are《The Chemical Reaction And Its Energy—Combustion Heat Energy》and《Continuable Development Education In Research Study—Is There Acid Rain In My Hometown?》...
