The Search On University Values Under Socialist Core Values System

A major strategic task of building a socialist core values system was first proposed in 6th Session of 16th CPC Convention. In the 17th National Congress it was put forward clearly further greatly and then socialist ideology was also made more attractive and cohesive, which adapted current ideas of the new changes and new features with a strong theoretical property, direction and guidance and provided a correct guiding ideology for promoting the construction of socialist harmonious society. As the highest level of educational personnel training, University charged with the task of cultivation of qualified builders and reliable successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics, it must be fully aware of the importance of the construction of socialist core values system at the University. The search of orientation of the university values as an innovation, is one of the important practical ways of the socialist core values system the inherent requirements of the development of the university.Therefore, we must adhere to the socialist core values system, which is also the fundamental guiding principle. University is an important position of the socialist core values system, how to organically combine socialist core value system and the university values together and allow full play to the leading role of the socialist core values system at the university, is one of the most important issues in the current university ideological and political education, which requires immediately solution. Youngsters are the hope and future of the nation, however, university is also a place to bring together outstanding young people. If we want to build socialist core value system in the new era, we must start from the young people and grab from college students. Therefore, university must integrate and permeate socialist core values system in youngsters and then form unique university values according to socialist core values system. How to build unitary and common core values under the guidance of the socialist core values system has a great significance for building a socialist harmonious society and speeding up the grand goal of socialist modernization.
