Higher Vocational College Internship Students Occupation Consciousness Cultivation In Order To Hotel And Catering Major As An Example

Nowadays, with the development of vocational and colleges, the number of students who are recognised is rapidly increasing. Moreover, this essay will also pose some methods to enhance the professional awareness of students from touism colleges, which might be significant for the development of college students.According to this essay, it is suggested that professional awareness is comstituted of professional morality, professional principles and professional behavior. It is a phychological process, which means individuals can obtain understanding of their jobs, find expectation for their work and realize their situations from the process of choosing jobs. In terms of catering industry, there are strick standards of employees' professional quality and professional awareness. Thus, the college, which is the cradle of those professionals, have to be concentrated on how to improve students' professional consciousness in terms of providing services, being compliance, teamwork and creativity, etc. This essay poses some strategies to enhance students' professional awareness, such as improving students' knowledge structrue and providing specific education in morality, professional training and enhancing the quality of the teachers. Moreover, it is suggested that this model also requires that companies where students conduct their Dinggang internships could give more trainings on their professional awareness and families will guide students correctly to realize their self-value.
